I LOVE using my loofah, it is after all a great way to exfoliate. So when I went almost crunchy, I couldn't find a soap I could use with a loofah. Enter GBBW's whipped creme soap which is natural, could be used with a loofah and lather's like a dream.

KEY INGREDIENTS & THEIR BENEFITS
- Saponified Oils of Virgin Olive, Coconut, Castor Bean, Avocado & Jojoba: Saponification is the process whereby the oils react with an alkali (sodium or potassium hydroxide A.K.A lye) to form soap. Each oil reacts very differently with the alkali and lend their goodness to the soap (1).

(1)
Hard/Soft - This column will tell you if a specific acid will produce a hard or soft bar of soap.
Coconut Oil: The medium chain fatty acids work as an
antimicrobial agent to help kill bacteria and other viruses. Very similar to
our natural sebum secretion, all of the properties of coconut oil leads to
moisturized skin, fewer breakouts, and clearer complexion (3).
Castor Oil: Soothing oil that has been used medicinally
for thousands of years and has antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-fungal
properties (3)
Avocado Oil: The proteins, omega 3 fatty acids, and antioxidants
in this oil make it a great moisturizer (4). It absorbs deeply into the skin
and helps increase collagen to keep your skin supple. Dry, mature, sensitive,
and problem prone skin can benefit greatly from this vitamin rich oil
(5).
Jojoba Oil: The proteins and minerals in this oil mimic collagen
and are closest to our natural skin oil. Anti-inflammatory effects have been
shown (6). Jojoba oil is great for all skin types especially acne prone
skin.
- Cocoa Butter: Rich and creamy natural moisturizer, Cocoa butter has an unusually high amount of antioxidants (3).
- Fresh Cream: Milk cream is loaded with minerals and lactic acid which enhances the complexion, makes the dry and rough skin smoother, deeply nourish the skin and also improves the skin texture (8)
- Vegetable Glycerin: A natural humectant, it can seal in moisture on the top layer of the skin while the other oils work their way deep into our cells to provide long-lasting moisture.
I have the whipped creme soap in two (2) variants:
Lavender lemon fragrance in 50 gm purchased at the Lil Flea and Marc
Jacobs Daisy fragrance in 100 gm. Both the variants are similar in every
respect except the fragrance.
To use, simply scoop out a dollop onto a loofah and
lather away on a dampened body. The fragrance of either of the variants isn't overpowering
and doesn't linger around after the shower.
The whipped soap, enriched with skin loving oils
& butters lathers well, provides great cleansing and provides
light hydration. For my dry/dehydrated skin, I would require to provide further
moisturization after.
My favorite of the two is the lavender lemon variant. I love the mild yet refreshing fragrance which also seemed to last longer than its Daisy counterpart! I particularly love using it to unwind after a stressful day!
