Yellow in color with a greenish tinge, the oil smells of herbs predominantly curry leaves. Fluid in consistency and light in texture, the oil is non greasy and washes away without leaving any residue or smell.

The oil is packaged in a plastic bottle with a flip top and is not travel safe. I would exercise caution if you plan to travel with it.

Like all Ayurvedic oils, this oil is obtained by macerating various plants in an oil base to extract the main active ingredients. The herbs are are slow-cooked with the oils, cooled and let to sit in the sun for a couple of weeks before it is strained and ready to use.

The ingredients used have the capacity to arrest hair fall, reverse premature greying, treat dandruff and encourage hair growth. I do have grey stands but they are definitely not premature and I do not have dandruff issues so I am not sure the effect the oil has on these but I did have hair fall and I have been religiously using this twice a week for the past month or so and I have seen a reduction. I also love how the oil leaves my usually coarse and dry hair soft and well moisturized.

Free of chemicals, preservatives and completely natural, this herbal concoction provides a nourishing and fortifying treatment for the scalp.

The hair oil, comes in a 100 mL plastic bottle with a flip top cap. Fluid in consistency, the oil has a golden yellow tinge with suspended rosemary leaves and has a mild fragrance of peppermint and rosemary. The packaging unfortunately, isn't travel proof!

To use, I take the required amount in my palm and massage it into the scalp ensuring that the oil spreads adequately to the entire area. The the residual remnants are applied from the hair root to ends. After about 30-45 minutes I shampoo/condition as usual. I use this oil once a week.

I am blessed with thick curly hair that tends to get dry and frizzy pretty quickly. Over the years I have subjected them to several chemical processes that hasn't helped their case. Hair oil massages are a must for me as they help tame my hair and provide my dry and damaged tresses the much required TLC.

The oil is very lightweight and gets absorbed quickly into the scalp without feeling overly greasy. After shampoo and conditioning, the hair is tangle free and does not appear limp. Even after a day or two, the hair is soft to touch and bouncy. The star ingredient in the blend, argan oil which is often dubbed as "liquid gold", is an excellent agent for taming frizz and promoting shine and gloss, as well as softer, more manageable hair.

A blend of four (4) carrier oils, that provide important essential fatty acids to the scalp and follicles, the oil restores shine to hair, provides nutrients to the scalp to advance hair growth, and helps to repair split ends making it perfect for over-processed hair!
