A lot time ago, surfactant based cleansers were my choicest facial cleansing products. If a cleanser did not foam I would write it off as being ineffective. Yet full of promises, these cleansers never delivered. My skin was drier than usual and had frequent bouts of acne. The irony is today at 30, my skin looks better than it did when I was in my 20's. Having switched to a "greener" lifestyle and having ingredient awareness has certainly helped with that.
